It might just be me but as soon as September hits I start shifting into the fall mind set.
One of the first changes to happen is in the style of crochet garments and accessories that I am choosing. I find myself spending more time looking at worsted weight yarns and saving cozy cardigans and bulky scarves to my make list.
And nothing beats starting off the chilly season like making a cowl!
I’m personally not a huge scarf person but can get behind a cowl. Not only are they quick to make but they serve the same warmth function of a scarf with less hassel, just pull it on!
The Janeway Cowl was designed to be a quick and simple crochet project but the corset detail will be sure to give it a unique look. You’ll find this pattern relaxing and easy to follow but you’ll still find you have a beautiful texture to the fabric when finished.
